The TL-WR543G Wireless AP Client Router integrates 4-port Switch, Firewall, NAT-router and Access Point. In AP Client Router mode it provides wireless access to the Internet with the support of WISP mode. It is very useful function in the case of wireless provider. The device has been dedicated mainly to Small Office/Home Office (SOHO) wireless network solutions. TP-Link TL-WR543G enables the user to build wireless network in quick and effective way, share internet access among several PCs, and, due to firewall, protect the network against external attacks.
TP-Link TL-WR543G provides multiple forms of network protection:
turning off the wireless network name (SSID) broadcast so that only stations that have the SSID can be connected.
64/128/152-bit WEP encryption security, WPA/WPA2 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK authentication, TKIP/AES encryption security.
An above-average feature of TL-WR543G is implementation of "eXtended Range" WLAN technology developed by TP-LINK company. With full compliance to IEEE802.11g, eXtended Range allows 2-3 times longer range in 802.11b and even 4-9 times in 802.11g standard.
It has built-in NAT and DHCP server supporting static IP address distributing. It also supports Virtual Server and DMZ host for port triggering needs, remote management and log - so that network administrator can manage and monitor the network in real time.
